Oreo Banana Smoothie

Healthy smoothies are all the rage, but that doesn't mean there's no room for a decadent treat every now and then.
And this delicious Oreo banana smoothie is just the thing when you're craving something cool. It's one of my kids' favorites and so easy that they can make it themselves.
In fact, they came up with recipe when I suggested they have a cup of blueberry water.
Apparently, a drink that included ice cream was much more appealing.
Go figure.
They're also the ones who motivated me to whip up a batch of Oreo Bottom Cupcakes. Because let's be honest, you can never have too many Oreo recipes!
Their original plan was to make a vanilla milkshake.
Then they spotted the Oreos and a new drink took shape.
Their recipe calls for vanilla ice cream, so the Oreo flavor stands out, but you could add a scoop of chocolate in as well. I won't tell.
Plain yogurt is used for the same reason, but again, you could substitute vanilla or banana if you want to amplify either of those flavors.
Oreos are a fun food, so there really aren't any rules here.
Have fun with it and enjoy!

It sounds delicious, I will have to try it sometime.
Are you using the whole cookie (filling included) or just both of the outside cookies? If not the filling, what can I do with it besides eating it?
